CINDI Education offers professional development for teachers in a variety of settings, including science teacher conferences, graduate coursework, and grant-sponsored long-term professional development programs. Dr. Urquhart teaches Conceptual Physics and Space Science courses in a Masters of Arts in Teaching program in Science Education at The University of Texas at Dallas, and incorporates CINDI Education into her course work. June 5, 2012 Venus Transit Viewing Event with the UT Dallas Women in Physics

Faculty, staff, teachers, physics campers, families, and visitors joined Drs. Urquhart and Hairston for the 2012 Venus transit in a Sun-Earth Day celebration with inside activities and live views using telescopes, solar viewing glasses, and NASA's live feed from the clear skies of Mauna Kea, Hawaii.
